Flashing Bios/oc

    Well im trying to OC my CPU but my BIOS is locked is there a way to flash my bios? im complete noob at this.

    I bought my comp at Best buy its a HP pavilion it was very cheap for the Parts it had. Very cheap witha good dual core

    If you are noob I DO NOT suggest you try to flash your BIOS. Flashing your BIOS can render your planterboard useless. It will mess it up if something goes wrong. I, as an experienced person, have lost a planterboard doing so.

    Is there another way to OC CPU, becuase gay Bios is locked

    ummm........ you cant really OC a HP computer. lol. all manufactured computers suck at OCing. HP, gateway, dell, etc etc

    If you buy a top of the line you can OC. I have a couple HP's I can OC with. None-other though. I think that you can with an XPS as well. That is a Dell. So, yeah. You can only OC through the BIOS nowadays I think. Sorry.

    My comp is brand new its a gaming comp should i replace the mother board witha dif one?

    I have the same problem, but no way, I'm gonna spend money on a new mobo. Already spend over 100 euros on cooling, because this whole pc is just a piece of crap. Anyway because on the thread. It's just your bios who locked it, so if you wan't a very cheap solution, you'll have to a hack for it, just like me.

    Can you tell us your mobo name and try running bios agent, it'll show everything about your bios.
