clinton wasnt impeached, he was up for impeachment, he left office as he should have, on time. the only reason there was to impeach him is that he lied to his country about having sexual relations with monica lewinsky. if he had said, "yes, i did have sexual relations with monica lewinsky" the impeachment would not have even come up.
