ok...downloaded vent the other day...go into my clans server to talk...and well.....they can hear me but i cant hear them....and ive tried just about everything that i know of....ive unistalled aand reinstalled like 3 times......i know my mic and headset work well because i just bought it yesterday....and i can get under xfire and listen...and then talk through vent...but i cant hear anything....ive checked the settings....checked my audio codecs....everything...tested the mic and headset...nothing is muted,,,,does anyone have any idea what it is....or can anyone help me figure it outplease?....thanks in advance
mute sound? make sure its unticked, had some1 make tht mistake before. and double check the "Output Device" settings. thts all i can sugggest.
Hixxy sounds about right on this. If that fails check your windows settings (doubt it) but it could help.
i should be rather right. a friend had this problem last week, he said he didnt hav mute sound on but he did, and a different friend could speak but not hear us due to his output sound not being correct.
I remember the time i could hear everyone on vent but not speack, had 5 people trying to help me for 30 mins only to find out i muted myself lol.
lol...well i think is just the server that im in...becasue....i went to a different one and everything was fine.....stayed in there and talked and even played bf2 for a while,.....i dunno.
are you sure the server you tryied didnt have a silent lobby on, and that your mates could have lies saying they heard you?
maybe....lol...i guess i can ask....but one of the guys i was talkin to in another server....is one of the admin...so i dunno...maybe...maybe not....
