Wtf..

I signed on today and I looked to go to by Bookmarks(favorites) and they were all gone, anyway I can get them back

you can try system restore

 

Check the bin, may be deleted

 

If this was FireFox it happened to me.

LMAO... that's why I suggest using something other than Fx. It messes some stuff up. Use Mozilla suit or Opera. Fx does wierd ---- like Jump, and delete your stuff randomly.

 

FF has never done anything bad to me.

I know how happens to me all the time.
Tools options and tick the show hiden files and folders box.
In firefox bookmarks >> manage boomakrs then file >> import from file.
Then locate this folder and select the most up to date backup
C:\Documents and Settings\your user name\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\w4jlcn3i.Default User\bookmarkbackups
And your all set.

 

go to the profile manager. It has most likely switched you to a different profile.

maybe next time choose a more apropiate topic name aswell as "wtf...!" dosnt quite cover your problem.

It happened 2-3 times to me too. First time I thought, ok. Second I got mad. Third I thought: What did I do those three times? Then it occured to me. I didnt shut down the system properly. I was in a rush, so I just pushed in the power button untill the computer turned itself of, with FF open. I tihnk it is that.
