    Memory: 2048mb
    Graphics: 512mb GeForce7300GS
    Hard-Drive: 300Gb
    Screen: 19" (1280 x 1024)

    Price: £1100

Thats all the stats i wrote down. Think that will do me for a few years? And is it worth it? And i know some people will say buy the parts and construct it yourself.... But thats not an option for me. Obviously it will be used for gaming a so forth.

a 7300 is crap, it doesn't matter if it had 1000000mb of Vram, it would still suck, assuming your gaming

    try to get a 6600GT or a 7600

2gigs of memory is good, but unless you're gaming or multitasking isn't too necessary, also, which processor does it include.

for that price range, you'd want an AMD Athlon X2 4200+ (or a 3.7Ghz Pentium Extreme Edition for somewhat compareable gaming performance AFTER overclocking to 4.2Ghz or higher)

EDIT: if it's for gaming, build yourself, most def if you can't, try ibuypower.com, really though it's much cheaper to build yourself and takes minimal experience.

7300GS only has like 4 pixel pipelines so that 512 of memory is wasted.

It's alright, the processor is decent and there is plenty of RAM ... but your graphics card is AGP and its a 7300GS. Try to get one with PCI-Express and a card like a 7600GT or 7900GT.

I'd lower the shared memory on the gfx card to 256, 512 won't do ---- for performance with that crappy card and just eats system ram.

    EDIT:

    L1100!!

dude you got ass raped on that. complete rip off, I thought it was $1100

for L1100 you could have gotten

    2GB DDR500sdram
    AMD opteron 170 or Athlon X2 4400+
    7900GT
    550W PSU
two 250GB caviers in raid(500GB effective)
DFI SLI-D(ocs better than the Ultra D due to a slightly better chipset)

FYI i havnt bought it yet lmao. I just went on the computer and took screenies of its stats lol. Post me the address please. Therefore the virginity of my ass remains firmly in tact :)

Also remember i said that i will not want to make it myself. I want a computer that is already put together. I wouldnt trust myself setting it up lmao.

Optron 170's are VERY good if your planning on over clocking, but if your not, well i would go with the 4400 or the 4200

    7900GT is a very good card on a budget get a 7800GT or a 7600GT

550W will do all you need in terms of a power suply, just make sure its a true power one, some are labled higher than what they are

I take your talking about RAID 1 the second 250gig drive as backup? very good idea, just make shure your mother board has RAID built in, RAID 5 is very good for speed and backup but you need 3-4+ drives of the same size.

Asus make VERY good mother boards see what the price difference is between the DFI and the Asus.

What will this be used for?
How much do you want to spend?
    Buying pre built of building?

    I believe 165 > 170 for OCing for price anyway^

but um..where do u live? USA, UK, something else..

and unless you are just really stupid with PC's, then you probly could build it yourself. My first build was fine (it was this [last?] christmas)

his budget is around 1100 pounds

and diablo, for the money thge 165 is a better buy but it still is easier to OC higher on a 170 due to the higher multi

also, RAID0 FTW... also for the most part ASUS makes better intel boards because of how closely they are ied, ASUS makes all fo intels ----boards for the record so they do alot of business w/ intel

This computer is only for like CS:S and games such as Guld Wars. I dont need a "Whaomg teh l337" computer, if i can get a computer that can play these types of game pretty much lag free then ill spend the rest of my cash on something like a car (Save up for a car). And im from the UK (England). The offer of this PC is from PC World aswell and i know i could get the same computer with a bit of cash knocked off if i bought it at a different store. If you could post a computer that is just good enough for basic gaming.

    Thanks.

well for 1100 you can still get alot better, that's a low ed gaming rig for a highends oens price
pentium Ds have been slated obsolete by intel in favor of their core duos
