Safe To Delete Files In This Folder..

Hey,

I was just browsing and found a folder named TEMP that was 1.5gb big. Being on a 33gb harddrive, 1.5gb is quite a chunk, and I am wondering if I can delete the files in it. I was looking around, and saw that it says I can, but I just wanted to make sure.

It is located at C:\Documents and Settings\Alex\Local Settings\Temp

If I delete anything, will any of my programs, or my computer not work anymore, or work badly?

I need an expert.

I'm pretty sure you can delete them man.

 

Ok thanks. I just don't want to ruin my harddrive because of deleting them, thats all.

that will remove everything you need for you and safely. And you get to chose. Temporary Files is just one section of it all..

btw i used ccleaner as well its really good and ccleaner stands for crap cleaner btw lol

 

yup. clean TEMP folder every so often...easiest way to get to it

Start > Run
then type %temp%
then just highlight them all then hold shift and press delete.

 

K I did it for all of my user accounts, freed up 5gb. Woo. Lol, Thanks
