Hello. I'm having som serious problems with virus and stuff so I'm gonna format my computer. How do I do this? I want to erase EVERYTHING, and then install gfx-card and all the components that I need. Can anyone help me?
ok u need my tut 1sec let me get it for you Here you go o BTW i missed a step at start - If you got the XP CD Make sure you set the boot device priority to CD first [to load the XP setup] - Enter setup by pressing DEL usually
unfortunately it is impossibel from what I know to reformat a CPU. if you want to reformat your HDD though that's a diferent story, look at DS's guide or try downloading pretty much anything. another alternative is to simply log into safe mode, disable system restore and to runn excessive virus scans, if that doesn't work, just try doing a system repair, it's foten less fo a hassle, reformatting should be a last alternative.
