Lets try to get rid of the discussion of warez here. Try to stick to the topic about if pirating software is right or not (atleast i think that is what the topic is supposed to be) and not tell about your own experiences in pirating software. If everyone continues to discuss warez this will be closed.

I don't think it is right to download programs but the thing is the adobe and many others bring it on themselves as they charge £500+ for a program that few people can afford, so logicaly if somone really wants it they are going to go out and download it. If they dropped the price to £100 a LOT of people will go out and buy it and that way i think they will make more money.

Watch out for warez, that's CIA and Government run to find people.

Ok, now.. on to the topic at hand.

It's either a simple double click and wait, or head out and wait in traffic, then wait in line, then pay 1000+ (found that price at staples).. I think one's better than the other.

Is it going to stop? No.. not for a good long long time. Should it be stopped? I think it should be slowed.

I spend money on CD's, video games, books, etc.. but when I must, and when I absolutely must, I download it from limewire. But then again, my friend downloads it all from limewire and I have a direct connection to his IP. So I just get most of the songs he has.

Sure I buy some cd's but most of time I get it illegally just because like "anythingyouwant" said, its a pain in the ass to get up drive a half an hour to an fyi just to buy a cd which is overpriced anyways.

I also use warez if I lose a cd that I bought. I don't see anything wrong with it then. The only problem is that you become obsessed with the realization that you can actually get 1000 dollar programs and 1000's of songs on your computer for free and sometimes months before they are even released....Tool's new cd for example, I saw it up for download a month ago and it just came out last week. Whatever, its their fault that they can't control leakage to the internet.

Internet Piracy seems unstoppable. Have I taken part? Maybe.. :D. But I say, if we can have it, and they're still easily in business, than who does it hurt? Of course it hurts sales, but so many people who downloaded software illegally would have never bought that product in the first place. So I like it, but I still know it's wrong. But it's like this: Earn Money, Go to the Store, Spend Your Money, Then in the case of the CD, you get 3 or 4 songs you don't want. Or Just Download Pirating program, and wait for download. It's just too easy.

I heard that companies that protect there software so much that it can't be pirated, always go bankrupt and close.

This topic is being closed, far too much discussion of actual warez and not the topic its self, especially the post prior to mine.

    Closed.
