i want to buy a new computer and i am saving up right now. i want a nice one for gaming but still can do graphics and everyday living stuff. http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Gateway-Des...roductDetail.do so what do you think?
I think Gateway sucks... first of all. I also think that if you plan on gaming AND doing work on a machine, 250 GB will still get filled up pretty quick. The processor seems nice but overall, if you want to overclock... OH WELL... I think Pre-Builts are SET no matter what and the BIOS doesn't allow it. I would just build mine. I think you can make one that looks much more nice and maybe even cost less using newegg.
i cant build a computer, cause i would get sick of it and really pissed off if it didnt work. so that is why im looking for the best deal on a premade. also if you have anyother suggestions like links to nice but not too expensive computers please post them here
for a premade it's nto bad considering it has a monitor included, but if you want a better monitor/already have one it's cheaper to build also: that's an f'ing lie, I'm on my spae comp which uses that same GFX set and it's crap, true I'm running on single channel ram which slows it, but it's still crap, you would need a new GFX card. try ibuypower.com http://www.ibuypower.com/ibp/store/configurator.aspx?mid=160 a decent setup, slightly more expensive but it includes a card, for like 800 pre shiping/tax youg et a real GFX card, and a gig of ram say: x2 3800+ 1gb dual channel ram 160gb hdd 6800XT(good luck unlocking the pipelines...) etc.
