Alright, I thought my question could be better answered here, rather than the "Games" forum. But if I was wrong, then please move this thread there. So I just have a few questions concerning mods for Counter-Strike: Source... 1. Is it bannable if I use mods? Specifically weapon and skin mods. 2. What directory should I place the following skin in, or for any other skin for that matter? (Skin) 3. And what directory should I place the following weapon skin, or any weapon skin? (Weapon Skin) Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
You wont get banned if you use custom player/guns skins Most gaming ladders dont allow them though, such as CAL, so you might get banned from those if you have them And there should be instructions on where to put the files
It's bannable, just not likely with only weapon and skin mods. I wouldn't suggest wasting your time doing this as the process is kinda difficult and it's not all that worth the effort. Just my opinion.
