Once im out im going to rly miss my old friends, not necessarily high school but jus the gang. I went into an academic program 2 yrs ago in 7th grade and only had 1 rly good friend there that i knew from way back. This yr he went to prvt school and now im alone. I still got a couple school friends i hang out with but its not the same rly. And when i jus joined that academic (magnet) program i lost a couple good budz.

Now i have about 3 or 4 rly good friends that i hang out with all the time and i think thats rly all u need.

That's what MSN is for --; to keep contact with all of your buddies :D

No clue which direction I shall be heading, maybe to a theatre near you!

With the simple fact that I'll have 5 AP tests under my belt... I'm already done with my first year of college so I guess I'm where you're at. But not really. I'm planning to do 2 years enlisted in the Marine Corps first so when I make officer I also have some enlisted experience under my belt. Any real Marines or military guys'll tell yah how valuable that really is to an officer ;) But yeah... who's trying to look cool now btw Dem.

But seriously guys, stop turning every thread around here in flame wars. What's the point. Just don't do it, thanks.

Anyway, I know I'm not gonna sit there and go all EMO on my wrists just because highschool's over. I just know I'll always have this nostalgia about it that I'll never be able to shake. I've also seen guys that just went through higshcool without really enjoying it. Yeah I know when I get out of the Corps and go to college so I can earn my comission it'll be fun but I know I won't have the same connections with people as I had in highschool.

Highschool's the start of your transition from teenager to adult and that's a time of your life... that you just can't get back if you don't enjoy it. Because... it's fun to get those keys for the first time and show up in school, it's fun to go to your first real dance, it's fun to go on a weekend fieldtrip with friends, and if you turn 18 during highschool it's fun to go to your first stripbar if you're a partyboy :) lol The first time you get to do these things only comes one time.

makes me proud we have people who like to brag about beating people up, getting suspended for it and rather than doing something constructive theyd rather do drugs during the time they are suspended in our military.

i know the marines, i have 5 of my friends who plan to enlist after their senior year of high school and are in the junior marine corp. around here and i know 3 people who went off this year and i have family that has died over there and another that is returning soon (technically not my family, but its my g/fs family and i doubt she and i will break up anytime soon, so i consider her family my family). ive also been to military and boot camp.

i was simply pointing out that you brought up something completely worthless to the topic you made (being that you got suspended for fighting and did drugs during your suspension instead of i dont know... helping out around the house or something constructive.

i dont flame or pick fights with people on here, i simply point out the errors in posts or stupid comments made in them and do the same thing in my post to say, "look at me, i can do this too" and then people get their panties in a bunch...

high school is a transition from a teenager to adult. it is the time you have to begin to accept your responsibility as a human in society and take your place in the line of adulthood. but when you get out of high school its not so bad, i mean that means your free for one (or for the most part), it means your capable of making your own decisions without parents nagging you, you can still visit/call/IM friends. some of them may go off to colleges across the nation, but more often then not youll all still be in the same state. worst case is you get a motorcycle (for its great gas mileage) and go all over the state to see everyone you miss lol

Hey, interesting topic. I'm still currently in high school, busy as hell. To all the people graduating from grade 8, enjoy elementary while you can and be sure not to cause any problems in Grade 9 if anything. Once your grade 9 year goes to an end, you kill your high school year. Don't cause any problems, be cool to everyone in your school... and your year will go great.

Anyways, best of luck to you and your future,
    Snipe. ;)

This reply should have been editted into your last post since it was directed to me but i didnt reply to you after your post. Rubbish.

I dont miss school, skip as much as i can and for my grade average, before this year I had all A's. Lets not steal this topic because YOU wanna make insulting posts towards people that state there opinion and use a current example. I just dont think ill ever miss school, end of point. Im enjoying my young age since ill only have one and not going to be a drone to the world and work all my kid years away tring to get grades just to have a ----ty job as something in 10 years. You dont have to be in school to have fun in your high school years

you do realized you just pretty much proved any part of my comments you tried to go against, right?

high school is just as important to your future as college is and unless your planning on marrying a rich women, it should be taken just as seriously. or i guess you could always be a stay at home dad who tokes it up all day and makes your wife mad because nothing is done when she gets home and has to do it all.
