The war in Iraq hasn't made the US any less of a target for terrorism. If anything it's created more islamic extremists that want to attack you.

That's exactly what I'm saying, these people have to work so hard, maybe some don't have the time to vote, maybe alot of them DID vote and realized their vote doesn't matter because the candidate they voted for didn't win when even they knew he should of.

And it shouldn't matter wether they voted or not, the current president should try to help them anyway, which he apparently isn't.

I'll have to say Geroge Washinton.

I mean where would America be without him? He's also my favorite because he didn't care if his life was at risk when he broke up the rebellion in Pennsylvania. I wish all of our presidents would do that seeing how they are in charge of the US army.

No, anyone has time to vote. 90% of the people that are poor are poor because the don't work, not because they work hard all day and get low pay. There votes do matter, and people like you saying that votes don't matter is whats ruining America. And no, not a lot of them did vote. If you look at the percentage of voters in the last run for presidency, you will see my point. And the president already states his opinions and his sides on issues. People know who they are voting for, and what he is going to do for America.

Apparently our votes don't matter the American people voted for Gore, it was 52% of Americans voted for him I think. What ever happened to majority rules? And in the last election Kerry got about 49.7% of the votes I think, ---- man thats 50% and Kerry didn't become president even though he lost the popular vote. OUR VOTE DOESN'T MATTER, I'm not saying I won't vote because I want to vote in hopes that one day things will change.

How many days do we get to vote? Did you see the lines? My god some people really don't have the time to vote and wait on line.

Most of these people aren't working because of our failing economy and the outrageous unemployment, it doesn't matter if they voted or not the president should help them.

Classic Republicanism - Blame the poor, feed the rich more.

I'm sure he had a few people "eliminated" because of that whole lewinski ordeal, don't kid yourself.

social conservatism is far diferent than economic liberalism.

laise faire economics is considered to be conservative in this day and age, correct, all of theme were proponents of laise faire.

and by that definition hitler and stalin were liberals(or more accurately stated, leftists, but that's another story)

    actually, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._presiden..._election,_2000

well the electoral college picks who they think would do best in office, but they are supposed to choose who the people choose. In this case, they strongly believed that Gore should not have been president, so they swayed the voting. Probably because Gore is insaine and believes he invented the internet.

How people with no jobs not have time to sit in line all day? What else are they doing? And how come the "rich" people who do all the voting have time if they have busy jobs?

Most people use the failing economy as an excuse for not getting a job, but really, they are just lazy asses.

Hahaha, I love that myth! Gore never ever said he invented the internet, he said he helped bring it mainstream into schools, which he definitly did do. He is far from insane.

I was talking about people who have jobs but have to work hard, and other people who don't have the time because they might be looking for a job, I do agree some people are lazy but it might be a smaller number than what you think.

And people aren't using the failing economy as an excuse, if the economy is failing then how the hell are they going to get a job in it? Be poor for a while and see how hard it is to come back.
