You need to set the jumper pins on it to SLAVE

and maybe go in BIOS settings

    refer to manual...

Ok ya that was the main problem to default the bios. Its a SATA drive so I cant really set it to slave. It popped up under My Computer now but when I try top access it it says "D:\ is not accessible." "The file or directory is corruptible or un readable"

So what could I do now?

you switched it from another computer didn't you. That or something else? Because I don't think you would get that error unless you wrote the files to the HD with another computer.

Don't you have to install a fresh copy of Windows on the new harddrive in order for it to be read by the current harddrive? I'm not sure. Try looking at a tutorial, google it.

hehe, you like that ----? lol.

dunno much about sata drives, but do ya need any drivers or anything for it. you should consult your motherboard manufacturers website for anything that might help you.

Just wondering, Does you motherboard support SATA drives? Also, is it partitioned correctly?

If you are addind a new HDD from Scratch then go and get a RAID controler, then you just put it in the RAID setup with the first drive. Look into the BIOS and enable one as another as slave and slave or master master or you can RAID 0 or 1. WHO KNOWS what you want because one line is never enough to give enough information on what you want to do.
