He has to focus on his own website. So, he resigned from his position on GR to focus on his site, since it is starting to get big and sexy.
I'm saddened by the transfer of ownership, however there comes a point in everyones life, where they have to move on some times. College is a very busy time, not just for learning, but for socializing and really laying the final stages of your future, so im not that suprised that this came about. It does after all make the most logical sense. I am sure Shaggy will do fine as an admin, and hopefully we wont see too many big changes since its appears that for the most part, the overall community likes it the way it is now.
Don't worry everyone. I will not be changing this forum to vBulletin. The forum is running fine now on my server and I have no thought of changing it to vb anymore. llama will still be here, he is still much a part of this community.
OFT I don;t know why everyone is pissing and moaning about going to VB. Its just as good and if dosen;t give errors and crashes its better.
No offence to shaggy.. But I dont like this I've been here for a while, back before Big Dave was around, and there were only a handful of staff and such, now pretty much everything has changed, its an entirely new site...only same thing is the skin.... I'll miss ya llama, no we werent close friends, but you were cool, you did a great job on the site, you deserve whatever you got for it, and then some farewell old chap. vB = pro IPB = good for graphics or gaming sites GR = vB = bad Although... GR + Errors + crashes = angry members/loss of members anger/loss of members = bad hmm.. EDIT: ok so all that was pointless now that I read the post by Shaggy huh? xD
Yey for shaggy Llama not leaving hes basically just having a stressful time - I went through that phase and its not easy to crack unfortunately ;(
