this happened to another site I went to, where the owner sold it due to personal reasons and the new owner apparently was an ass(fortunately I "USED" to go there, the place was gay and I kind of got myself a 999 year IP ban) and the site went to ----. shaggy, you better mantain this place well.
not true that he was leaving or that it will switch to vB but true that GR is sold? Hope the new guy have good intentions
I got my facts from BFTP. Don't believe me? Ask most staff around here.. or better yet clik here and look at the channel's topic and who it was set by.
OK NEW INFORMATION <(Llamaman)> says: well the reason is that i'm away for the next month or two due to me taking some very important exams so i'd prefer to spend time revising for those rather than having to be at GR too, but i'm staying as an administrator before and after my exams PLEASE READ
Read the first post if you don't mind. Edited it with some more reliable sources about the incorrect information streetsy gave me.
GameRenders should be staying mostly as it is and i doubt very highly there will be any drastic changes. Llamaman will stay on as a admin, handiling mostly moderating instead of forum issues. He has exams over the next two months and as you can understand needs to forus more on revision and less on GameRenders. and no, we will not be switching to vBullitin. -Jay
The reason for this is simply that in the next few months i'll be away due to other real life issues such as examinations, which defenetly take priority over anything else. The quote on the first post was not correct, I won't be leaving the forum and I'll still be here as an administrator before and after my exams. Also you shouldn't worry - Shaggy knows how to run a forum so you should not worry about anything dramatic happening - GR will continue to function like it always has done
Joe has worked on GameRenders for well over the past two years. A few more years, and by law - they would be married. I am confident he would not choose anyone without the experience thats needed to run a large site. Its been a learning experience for Joe, and i am sure it will be for shaggy. Andrew
