    ok... plug it in

use it, no instal nor find needed.

assuming you are using windows, go to start>>programs>>acessories>>entertainment>>soundrecorder

if it doesn't work, try reinstalling your sound card/onboard sound drivers

I dont know your exact config, but On mine I have both ports on my motherboard and my sound card. Try both of the slots. Also go

START>CONTROL PANEL>SOUNDS, SPEECH, AND AUDIO DEVICES>SOUNDS AND AUDIO DEVICES>AUDIO TAB

From there check what your default Sound Recording device is and see if there are any other options to choose from.

If you have a Creative Soundblaster sound card ... the colors might not be coded right. I have one and I have to plug my mic (pink) into a blue slot on the sound card ... and I have to plug the headphone jack on the headset (black) into the green slot on the sound card. Took me a while to figure that out when I first got it

Somewhere close, but possibly far, **** you.
hmm, try to go to 'Control Panel' > 'Add and Remove'. Look for your sound thing and reinstall. Always worked for me.

In the sound thing in your control panel make sure your mic is the one recording.

i never trust the colors... it's not standardized or anything..

there should be 3 pictures on your connections..

    1. a little arrow pointing into (( ))
    2. a litle arrow pointing out of (( ))
    3. a little microphone with waves coming out of it like ))

    1. is input, like how you can manually record something from a tape recorder or cd player
    2. is where you put your speakers/headphones
    3. is where you put your microphone

look near the plugins, it should be there..
