    btw i got legit xp and the other thing is that if you are gonna buy a illegal one, which proberly many people are, then you would have atleast known not to update xp cos thats the like first thing you never do when u have installed xp, lol

    I got my XP OEM, so It was like $50 cheaper. Not much, but I could buy a game with that money :lol:

    iv been updating it around 2 years now...... all is fine but

    now they bring out this update...

    i restarted my com and now have to tick a box to confirm that i will be going lergit then the com starts up..... -sigh-

    on there site u can buy a key for £95

    i will find something to download to fix this lol

    IF you do download the update, there's a simple way to get it to stop running and turning on...ever. It's not with task manager. It's with regedit.exe and you have to delete some files in ur system32 folder. I did it and it works. Plus if you still haven't downloaded it, and installed it, theres a way to stop it from asking you to download it forever. When ur installing, just to to advanced install, uncheck the update box, and click close. It will ask you if you want to stop it from appearing forever, and you press yes and ur done. :lol:


    ...stupid annoying microsoft programs, oh i hate you so.
