I was surfing the web, OMG I found Game Renders... Now, I have been a member for quite some time. As you can tell and as you may or may not know, you don't see many lower number members around. So, I have been through server and server with GR and I have came to the conclusion that this one just sucks. No matter what I do, I always have a hard time getting through. It takes serveral tries to load pages, I get errors, and it is frankly, getting on my nerves. Before I let it go too far though, I would like to ask if anyone else has the same oppinion, or you don't experience the same things / do experience the same things. I want to know what you think, or feel. I would also like to know, as I said before, if you are getting the same kind of errors and frustration.
Low member count but not many posts at all..... Well...this is what I think.. You go out there, and set all this up yourself and make it work 100% for everyone and then you come back and laugh in llama's face, ok?...
Low member count? If I read right, the members online were once showing members online for the last 60 minutes. Thats an hour that members have been on here. That means that the whois online has tracked and is showing members from an hour ago. Those members are not really on here, they were an hour ago but not this minute. It was recently set back to 30 min. Now it is show members that have visited the forum 30 min ago. So that is the reason why you see less members here then before. Its not keeping track 60 min ago, its keeping track half that.
i experience the same thing. multiple reloads, sql errors, never once do a get a "thank you" after a post, it just doesnt load and i have to click back and reload the page to where it was supposed to be posted (since i use the quick reply most often) and yeah... its been getting on my nerves too, one of the reasons ive been going to other graphics sites.
been acting liek crap for me as well but it's semi tolerable... wellexcept when I tak a half hour to compile a list and post it, see it show up fine, then close the browser and check back a few mins later to see that it's gone... YAY
I too am getting several errors. I'm not letting it get to me, though. And it shoudln't be making your life miserable. If it is, Than your life is miserable to begin with. Despite all complications, I'm sure our server is trying everything in their will to fix the problems at hand. In time, the problem will be fixed. Patience is all you need. Make some signatures, Write a tutorial, do somthing to occupy your time productivley.
the only things this server is hosting would be SOTW attachments, otherwise its just lines of code for the member information/posts/etc., not pictures, but it still is alot of info. personally i would like to know why we keep changing servers or they keep going down all the time (i know sites with larger member databases, more posts, allow unlimited attachment space, etc. that have no server problems at all) and all these mysql errors recently are beginning to bug me, but its only on specific forums some of the time (like right now for me general discussion and the website forum wont load at all).
wow its finally come back up for me and i cant get into most places..like offers and requests, auction room, your stuff etc :lol:
