and what religion is that? i hope you're not referring to Islam. the "religion" taught to them (the extremists) is broken piece of islam, which was then, melted, re-shaped, thrown around in the air a couple of times, digested by an extremely angry lion, and excreted. bottomline: it's not TRUE Islam as taught in the Koran and preached by Prophet Muhammad S.A.W

It has been awhile since I started this topic and - whether the responses are Zionist-related or in belief of Iran' s theory - I must thank you all. For starters, yes, Israel has been the scene of war for over 5000 years, and its still going on to this day. Unfortunately, the pawns are just getting set back up for another round of chess. While Ariel Sharon might not be in power, Israel is pushing the new leader, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, to take action in the issue of political borders. Unfortunately, the Hamas government is also in power, claiming that - while they will not encourage terrorism on their behalf - they will not accept Israel' s right to exist.

But consider Israel' s roots - a nation that was found by none other than people who wanted a home dedicated to their way of life. I want you to consider this because majority of the Middle East - including such 'enemy' nations as Syria, Iran, and Iraq - was founded by people who fled the Ottoman Empire in search of an Islamic home. If they were allowed to get land in the Middle East, then why should the Jewish people of Israel? They are recorded by some of the oldest sources to have dwelled there over 3000 years ago, just as far back as anyone else.

Many may say that the Israeli government does not deserve to exist because the land was 'stolen' by Britain and that it is rightfully theirs. On the contrary, national borders of Islamic nations were given to them just as politically fair as Israel from nations like France and Britain during the Islamic Nationalisim Movement following the fall of the Ottoman kingdom. These nations may think that they had Allah on their side in trying to take what they claim was rightfully theres, but why did it take the UN to save countries like Egypt and Syria from Israel? Where was Allah' s word in all this?

Do not get me wrong, I have respect for any and all religions, but perhaps religion is nothing more than faith. Perhaps this isnt about what your God has promised you, but what is right is that these brother nations - nations that worship the ways of the brotherhood of Ishmael (relations to Islam) and Isaac (relations to Judaism) - to get along. They all worship what is known as "Abraham' s God", so why must they fight for land that each nation shares a dream for?

If I came to your house and I said that I want to share the house with you without paying money or anything, you would try and kick me out, won't you?
That is what Hamas is trying to do right now. The Hamas want Israel to go back to thee 1967 boarder that they had because they bought that land from the Palestinians, and I say that's extremely fair.

I can see how one might consider the Hamas view as reasonable, but is that a worthy option for stuff like terroristic regimes and such?

Speaking of Israel.. I have to go there this May. My family insists that we should expirience new places so some of my family lives there. But anyway, I feel like -rep'ing you for some of the things you've said White_Tiger, but I wont. From what I've heard Israel was a Muslim nation until Jews invaded. I have nothing against Jews I'm friends with a lot, but let me quote a conversation Shadowgamers and I had earlier today.

As far as I know Shadow is Jewish and pwns. :)

this whole thing will end with a big war and we will fulfill the prophecy over there and we cant do anything about it.

if we want to do something about it, let the land BE SHARED and its over with, its retarded all these people want this sacred slice of land and then what? will we be fighting for this land till the end of time? i can go on and on about this and nothing will be done so im stopping...

First off, congrats on getting a chance to go to Israel. Religiously or not, a trip to Israel can always be enjoyed as an interesting experience, one I almost got to see for myself when I was 12, but war got in the way. Onto your -rep thing, Im sorry if my tone or content wasnt of your taste - and I will not try to give brown-nose talk to make it seem like Im one to oppose - but I am only taking from what I have studied and what I have seen through my own research. Theres a very likely chance that my content - some or all - is wrong.

I do not speak from the Zionist perspective, even if I am of Jewish heritance and practice. There are extremists on the Isreali side that are I completely disagree to the same degree as the Palestinian extremists. I basically am saying maybe the Palestinians and Isrealis are fighting an unjust war. I mean, the Jews were persecuted all over Europe during WWI and Britain just tried to give them a home. When they tried to at least make a living, it led to outbreak. Maybe its the UKs fault? Not sure.
