    Beethoven definitely does the job.
Wagner, too. I always listen to Rheingold, Parsifal and Die Walküre. Awesome.
You might know "Walkürenritt"/"Ride of the Valkyries" from movies like Full Metal Jacket.

i find old rock/metal instrumentals to be pretty easy listening. like if you can find some instrumentals for nirvana or metallica or something like that, they tend to be nice...

but this is coming from the same person who falls asleep to things like devil driver, impaled nazerene, dimmu borgir, cradle of filth, etc.

Pink Floyd, saberpulse, err........I do my homework to a heavy beat, so Led Zeppelin for me.
ususally, high tempo songs tend to distract me so those three are what I listen to when I need to focus.

    Sabrepulse.

    Songs to recomend-
Pink Floyd: just go buy The Wall and listen to all of that, it's smooth as butter.
Led Zeppelin- Since i've Been Loving You- When the Levee Breaks- Stairway To Heaven

Sabrepulse: You can hear them or yourself.

you should check out Avenged Sevenfold, especially their latest album, City Of Evil. some songs on there are quite easy listening.
and if thats not easy enough, check out Tortoise. they are an instrumental band. thats quite good for hw and studying and the like...
