Sure many will like it... but saying I own a PS3 or X-Box360 soo feels different than saying I own a Wii!!
I know, alot of people don't like the name, I think it not that big of a deal. Everyone I know, just calls the latest Nintendo system "Nintendo". For the people who don't know. Its said like: We Like: We are cool.

No. Just no. You do realize alot of business will simply not happen because of the name now, right? I know that sounds stupid, but who honestly wants to have a Nintendo Wii (pronounced like "we") in their household compared to a Nintendo Revolution (and yes, the Revolution was a suiting name for the new console, as its bring something 100% new to the console gaming world). Personally I think this name is crap and they should change it back to their codename (Nintendo Revolution).
"We" definetely dont want it now. maybe they thought nintendo games appeal to a more younger audience
Just because you are used to the Revolution. Anyways, it makes sense to alienate the intire gaming industry as a first step to getting customers that ain't been into games before
