Well for a while my keyboard has had some keys doing things other keys should.

For example, if I wanted to get an @ sign, I have to hold shift and press the " key. And vice versa.

Anyone know how to get it back to normal?

I dunno if it's different for Americans, 'cause I have a British keyboard and @ should be on the ' key.

I have a British keyboard too, and i know it should go there :)
Well all i can think of is to go to:
Start -> Control Panel -> Printers And Other Hardware -> keyboard
Click the Hardware tab then click Troobleshoot

Now if that doesn't work, then you may have to put up with it or buy a new keyboard.

Well I've just tried that and it's going into all this stuff about drivers etc.

Is it worth just doing it do you think?

Nah, if you look around for setting up the keys or somthing similar. Then that should work. If you can't find it don't play around with the drivers unless you actually know what your doing. ^_^
If you can't find the keys thing i said above then get a new keyboard or live with it. Sorry but thats a you got the option of.

Nono, its easy, you just need to change the regional settings from United States to United Kingdom.

Just go to your control panel, click Date time etc. and regional options.. Go to Regional and language options, then change your country from United States to United Kingdom, that should fix it :)

How long have you had this problem with it?
    Since you posted recently?
But looks like you will have to get a new keyboard.
Btw, do you use that key regularly? if not then don't bother with the new keyboard lol.

Just tried it, it was set on "English (United States)" so I changed it to "English (United Kingdom)", didn't really make a difference.

I might aswell just get a new keyboard.

    Merged Post:

    A few months.
And it isn't just the one key, it's several of them. It's like, it switches the Shift uses of the keys around, it's weird.

Does the keys keep changing, or did they change that once, and stay as a different key?

Also can you think of anything that may of disrupted it?
