Hes sinning by being judgemental of another person and trying to say his beliefs are above yours, if he went further hes also violating a relatively large law of the US.

just so you know, satanists and christians actually have a lot in common. its the people in general who cause dispute amongst the two religions, the fact is most christians simply dont go off and look into other religions, especially not satanism, and the same goes for satanism going and viewing other religions, especially not christianity. their beliefs are different, but they are closer in similarity than most people think. I personally like reading the holy scripts and getting some of every religious culture into me and finding a nice medium of what to believe as I find it wrong to solely believe in one side of things and not even bother going into other religiosn to find what they believe and finding a nice middle ground where all the religions can meet up and agree on quite a lot of things and basis, or atleast compromise to get there. And yes, I have looked into both satanism and christianity and about 6-10 other religions and i seek to look into more as they come my way. im currently working on a tattoo that changes everytime i get a new religious culture into me that mixes all these holy symbols from different religions into one symbol, kind of similar to how disturbed did their "believe" album cover.
emo in its stereotypical meaning is someone who moaps around in self loathing because of their worthless (and believe me, they are truly worthless) existance on this planet. They are the moreso depressed, moreso pathetic, moreso womanly form of the genres, its a sub culture, just like goth/prep/jock/etc.
