i dont force her, i always ask first and if she doesnt want to go, thats fine, unless we have other plans for that night ill give her ticket to a friend and we go instead. if we have plans, i give my tickets to two of my friends (recently one of my friends g/fs got work at one of the concert halls/arena event centers and they are pretty serious, so i get tickets to basically all the bands i want to go see for free now) and she and i will go and do our thing while my friend and his g/f or a couple of my friends will go to the concert instead. Thats from my edit in my last post. Its not so much of an issue, we usually split it 50/50. Sometimes she and I will go out when I wanted to go to a concert, sometimes ill go to a concert I dont want to go to because she wants to go to it, and sometimes ill go to a concert with her (but only if she wants to go) and other times i just go to the concert with a friend instead as she knows i tend to have a much better time at concerts when i am able to mosh and get drunk and do all that stupid ---- (i cant drink anymore, but yeah... thats another story). as said, music is virtually my life, i value it above 95% of everything in the world (the 100% would go to my g/f ) and its just irritating that she cant share what i like to do because of how much i love my music. music is always playing in my room, which is why i am NEVER on a ventrilo or TS server, that would infer i have to turn down my speaker volume so you can actually hear me. i just find concerts to be really special things (whether it be for dates, social gatherings, etc.) and its just frustrating to be able to have such a love for it myself and her to not have a love for it (not just my music, music in general shes not really into). EDIT: Anywho, back on topic, how bad does green day suck?
i think they are waste of space to be honest never really like there music at all its all anooying i just hope the whole green fad ends soon
I like them, their music is pretty good. But too much of a good thing is a bad thing (American Idiot)
their older music (before american idiot) was fairly decent stuff...but now, i'd definately have to agree with the majority of you. greenday suck, their music sucks... thats what you get when you try to change your image just to sell albums...
Wikipedia says Green Day is pop punk. But I dunno. Personally I don't really like Green Day, there's a couple of songs I like, but the rest isn't too good. I agree with most people though. They've become too mainstream.
They used to be good to me back when i was in 7th grade...some of 8th grade..now I cant stand listenin to them
According to your profile, you were in 7th/8th grade like two years ago....I've been listening to them since you were probably still in diapers. God I feel old. And one thing people don't seem to realize, probably since they were too young to remember it before...but Green Day was ALWAYS very mainstream.
