    a friend of mine has a site that i normally go to daily...but...i can only get on the site at certain times of the day for some reason......and only during the afternoon for some reason...you cant go to it at night or the morning.....and i know its not the web site becuz my brother will be on it at the same time im trying to get onto the site....and i asked the admin and he said no one else is having the problem......can someone help me plz?

    And all other sites are okay?

    Does the site use PHP or ASP?

    Otherwise I guess something must be wrong with your internet configuration.

    yea...all other sites are ok....im not sure about what it uses though...i'll have to check.....but what could be wrong with my config?

    well....are you typing www. before the domain?

    i know you don't normally have to, but some sites wont load unless you type www. before it. or if you leave it out it may work.

    Try clearing your cache and your cookies. Then go back to the website and see if that works. It's also possible that high traffic to that site could be causing the problem.

    Probably your firewall or something im guessing.

    k well.....ive already cleared the cache and the cookies...and its not really a high traffic site......and ive tried puttin the website name in with and without www. so i guess the only other thing would be the firewall.....anyone else have any ideas?

    Okay, where is the site hosted? Is it in the U.S. or another country? I pretty certain it's not your firewall, unless some malicious pop-ups or dangerous Active-X controls need to be allowed. Maybe if you post up a link of your friends website would help out.

    the site is hosted in the us.....

    www.urban-riot.com

    look for your self,,,im on a different computer and im on the site right now.....maybe you can figure it out....

    exactly...thats what makes me mad...im back on my computer now...and it doesnt work but certain times of the day if im lucky.....ahhh

    no...it only works everynow and again...and then only certain times of the day

    it does it with ie and firefox
