    I think he means the trend...
    I personally think the "scene" trend is awesome
    and scene isnt emo. Scene is more on the hardcore side...
    *gets ready to get flamed* bring it on! O.O;;

    rather than exactly flaming you, im just gonna say your opinion doesnt count because of your avatar...

    Also, as i said, i personally see the scene trend as preps who want to be considered the stereotypical emo, but dont know in actuality about the stereotypical emo kid genre all too well. I personally dont see why anyone would ever want to be emo, or considered emo. Not so much for their clothing style, I could care less about that, and the whole hair thing and stuff, but god, their traditional music is just like... how the ---- can you listen to that? Id be quicker to listen to country or opera on my free time than that. Keep in mind, this is all me stereotyping the "emo kid" and "scene" trends, there are always exceptions to the stereotype.

    EDIT:

    This brings up a similar circumstance... I knew this one really rich, preppy, acted like a prick cheerleader who wanted to be like rocker/punk/emo girl of the school and liked MSI (mindless self indulgence). Ofc, most of you who know MSI, they have been going really mainstream recently and its irritating the old school listeners and ofc now that they basically hit mainstream all the preps and wannabe rocker/emo/punks listen to them, but I finally got pissed off at this girls thoughts and went up and flat out asked her if she liked MSI, ofc she said yes, so then I responded with, "you do know they masturbate on stage, right?" and she said, "EWWWWWW!" and ran away from me. I dont know if she still listens to MSI.

    This just kind of struck me the same way as this general "scene" thing, where preppy kids are going out of their way to be known as something they know nothing about in the first place. I find it to be relatively funny ^_^

    EDIT:
    rather than keeping up what I said, I am just going to revoke it and say that Beatsta was right on this one. Dont wanna get flamed as I really dont care enough to keep posting to defend myself.

    Some good point and bad point posted here but really at the end of the day people who want to be scene can be scene who ever wants to be gangster be a gangster and so on at the end of the day people feel comfortable for what ever trend they wanna be. just no one else likes the other trends. being a teacher i see it everyday with "get bend emo-whore", "you big gay scene bitch" or "wigger!" etc seriously battle over which trend is gay or mines better anit gunna work because boths sides will battle to the death to protect there trend.
    and answer any following questions..
    yes i like Emo/Scene be i dress like a Normal person
    the end. lol ( yes i did find the guide quite funny )

    Dude seriously, are you a homosexual? You've got to be if you just posted that. Wow, I would never waste my time reading something stupid like that. You seriously must be gay.
