yeah thats true, i aint got a 360, or oblivion, but i played oblivion on my m8s comp, an i used to have morrowwind.

Even tho morrowwind is a class game, it doesnt compare to oblivion.
But maybe, it will be best to get morrowind 1st, so u get the jist of the game.

    Hmm...

I have both, I'd say Morrowind if you have the lesser computer.

And oblivion for the better computer.
I had to buy video card, and graphic card just for oblivion on HIGH detail. You can play low detail with minumum. But it's best required the best. You will lag abit in oblivion if you don't meet the best type of cards.

They don't link to each other, both different island. In oblivion rarely talks about morrowind.

    Depends on you.

Btw: If any one needs help doing stuff on Oblivion I can help (like changing data file for taking screen shots, Item codes, and mods. Pm me.)

    Enjoy the games.

Get both too if you want, Oblivion is fun, gets boring at times. The oblivion MAIN story line is kinda short, but manny faction quest and freeform quest.

well ill finish it by saying this

    Oblivion

    Pros:
    Better graphics
Bigger world but not by a whole lot
Amazing attention to detail as well as morrowind
id say at least well over 400+ hours of gameplay also a con

    Cons:
    on computer extreme high requirements
Takes hours and hours of time to get used too and get to be able to really freelance
Might not be used to that style of extreme rpg its like having a 2nd life it truley is.

    Morrowind

    Pros:
    Big world like oblivion
Ready to freelance or do what you want within about 1 hour
the expansions are out which makes it lots of fun
about 300+ hours of gameplay also a con

    Cons:
Not as good graphics as oblivion..
    Not as big of world
Not as much gameplaying time yet the gameplay times unlimited

Both games are really fun I personally like morrowind best oblivions really good but it takes serious gameplay to get into it lots of it both games are UNBEATABLE you can't beat the game its impossible so theres almost always something you can do.... But the style of rpg is different from other styles you have probably played and will takes prolly over 10+ hours just to get used to the functions. no matter which game you get you will love it for sure its awsome the storyline is great graphics are great on both games anyway you decide is it gonna be morrowing or oblivion?

Play Oblivion since it rules. I recommend it on Xbox 360 since you can get the best of the game without a Super great PC. Its storyline can be played even if you never played morrowind.

I suggest both, but oblivion first.

With a mid line PC (150ish graphics card) you can play oblivion at higher settings than 360 and a regular TV, and almost as good as a high definition one.

Hmm......I'll try morrowind first, and probably only morrowind. I mean 700+ hours of gameplay? I'll pass.

hd tv= 1024*768... I'm sure a mid range card can play at that...

and star of death, if your PC is relaively new(within 2 years of age and either a P4 EE or an Athlon XP or 64) a 150$ GFX card is cheaper, even if you have to add say 70 bucks more for an extra gig of ram... wow 220<400...

If you think battles and graphics are more important than feeling, level design and music, go for Oblivion.
If you think feeling, level design and music is more important... Well, go for Morrowind...
    EDIT
Sandman, you can beat the mainquest wich counts as beating the game :P

I played both so i go with Morrowind. It has much more dept and stuff like that, though the graphics are bad. Oblivion is also very cool but Morrowind was just better.
