I always have to turn on my computer and use it for a few hours before doing anything im supposed ot like homework or sleep. I also alway hold doors open for people though this might be an ac of courtesy Merged Post: i have also been OCD about making sure I'm disorganized.. if my work somehow gets orgranized then I freak out and something which makes it sloppy, like shuffle through papaers for random ---- I think I lost or something like that. oh I also always refresh the main forum page on places like this way too muc sorta liek I have to be the first to respond... that might just be boredom though.
Well if you really want the textbook definition of OCD it is: The repetive completion of tasks and or actions to releive stress or anxiety. Ive been in a mental hospital for it because of the distractions it caused me in school. Whenever i heard a soda bottle open, i had to open mine if not mine then someone elses. Id count whenever people blinked, walked, or breathed. Id always have to put deoderant on 7 times. I dont know why it just felt right. Its not just an annoyance its a disease that can really interupt how someone lives.
well I guess putting on a lto fo deodorant isn't too bad, I mean I forget a lto I think I average putting it on like once every otherday, though fortunately I don't think I have much of an odor issue at all (if any) because of such.
oh another thing i do is count the numbers of letters in an ad or w/e like when i'm on the subway and if the numbers uneven i havhe to add another letter with a pen...i guess i do alot of wierd stuff..but its no where near OCD...atleast not IMO
One thing I do is, if my cupboard in the corner of my room is open even the slightest, I have to go over to it and shut it before I go to bed. I've always done that, no idea why. Similar thing with my bathroom door. I have to open it all the way until it hits the wall before I go in. Also. When I've highlighted something and press Ctrl+C to copy it (such as a link), I have to press the C more than once. It really annoys me if I don't. Even if you only have to press it once It's a habit that really annoys me. With graphics I usually have to get everything perfect until I save it and classify it as finished. Not unless I don't see it. Even if it's really small and I notice it, it has to be corrected or it'll bug the hell out of me
I dunno if this counts, but everytime I go into a room with a mirror, I always look in it and turn my head around a bit to look at my head from left and right ;P
thats not ocd lol thats vanity always checkin how good you think you look lol. But yeah rerwrite that is ocd. well its a symptom. get it checked out man if it gets any worse.
Whenever I use something like a Pen, it MUST have a cap on, or i won't use it. and some pens have text on them, so i HAVE to line up the long part of the cap with the text. It just annoys me.
