Hiya, i think im in the right thread if not please move it.

After my GCSE's are finished i will have about 6 weeks probably abit more to do nothing really and was wondering if anyone knew if i could get an online job with a company as a GM for a game or something not involving coding (personal preference) i have a friend who earns quite abit of money being GM for a few games but i want to know of some companies where i could get this job and how to apply etc etc.

If you know of a game company that is looking for a tester or something it would be most appriciated.

Im Sorry But I Dont Think anyone here would post any/name any companies even if they did know ;) Just that not many jobs come around like that, I Suppose you could look up the Game Magazines at your local store and search up online to see if they have any jobs available. I Started to think of this a while ago but noting came along that was of any use. Also Not to Mention that GM require applicants to be ages 18 or Over any way.

    GL and Happy Finding. :)

Your not going to make any money online unless you have a skill to sell.

Um the job your talking about game testing, they dont just play.

They have to point out many things, and problems, and help to improve them

It's pretty hard to find a reliable job on the internet. You need to have some connections or something. Just ask your friend if he could ask wherever he works if they would have a spot for his friend(you).

I doubt your friend makes money. They usually see it as a priveledge to let someone play an unreleased game. Hell, I would never want to be paid, i'd just be greatful I'm playing it.

Sure is hard to sit around and play games for free these days...

I honestly think that online jobs are really hard to find. And you would have to convince your parents to give you their credit card number (if you dont have your own) so you can recieve your pay checks.

Much easier just to get a real job.
