    how does gamerenders have those annoucements on each forum? like rules.. etc. is it a mod? or is it already in IPB?

    its already on for when you make a post you have an option to make an announcement

    Not correct, you have an option to PIN it, not making it an annoucement that shows up in all boards.

    Goto My controls and the Manage Annouchments tab. You can add/edit them there. :)

    Please note that the announcement feature is only available in IPB 2x and up.
