I am working on a new template for a new Runescape fansite I am planning to release in July/August. Here it is so far. Theres something about those spikes that ruines the effect. Maybe put you shouldnt put them all pointing downwards. Like those at the side of the content box and the big ones on the banner. You can put those small images/links to other websites in the space between the banner and the rest of the site. Its a good start but the template can use some work on it.

Text needs a lot of work, and the chains don't connect on at all. Over all the thing has got a very novice feel to it, no offense of course. Keep on working at it.
I can see that you have sone quite a bit of work on this template, and it look okay, but the old version actually looks better than the new one. The nav box is too faint of the second and the white air-brushing helped to make it stand out more, the added content box looks too bland compared to the rest of the template and is just down to lack of effort on your part, but it'll get there soon enough, don;t worry. The banner text also need more effort and time put into it.
