What Do You Think About This?

I was just compiling things and editing Windows EXE files and was wondering what you thought of the outcome of this "one" thing that I did to it:



I was also wondering if you guys wanted to know how to incorporate this with the last lesson, "Changing 'Start' Button Text"?

Well, it's just a text change.. make a new desktop skin. Those are impressive.

 

Make a whole new skin? The coding will actually take a bit. I will also need a collabiration between an artist. I will make it built in though, this will not be some cheap Windows blinds crap. If there are any takers I will whip out one of my other computers, boot it up with Windows XP Pro (MCE) and then get to crackin' what do you say?

Do you know where to find every image in XP? If so, if you could make every single part, I can then start coding them in. >.<

AKW, i got an idea lol. ill designs the skin, u code it, then we patent it and copyright it at cp-gurus.net lol.

 

LMAO! That sounds great too... find the data base where all of the images are kept... make all of the images customized and then I will need them in a rar or zip named as they were in the database.

Google it. Or I will look for them. I would say in all the files you are editing... more than likely the files will show up in Explorer.exe as it is opened in a compiler. WAH!

 

i figured out which file in resource hacker and made new .exe, but I cant find the file to edit in regedit, can you tell me which file?

You just add it like the Explorer... nothing changes if you changed the text.
