Has anyone beat sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts 2? I have no choice but to fight him, since he is apart of Jiminy's journel and HE IS HARD! anyone know how to beat him?
i dont think its part of the 100% completion... (is it?) because in KH1 i had 100% completion (opens secret movie) and i didnt fight sephiroth. but anyway im gonna try it when i get home, but i do know you have to reverse stuff a lot (hit triangle) since he can kill you in 2 hits.... or just one
it depends on what dificalty you play on. on KH2 i started on proud and alll i had to do was beat all the worlds. but my cousin beat it on standerd and he had to complete all of jimmys challages to see the the cutscreen. anyway i didt even try to beat sehroith tell i was 99. when i wass 99 he put up a fight but he went down in the end.(also is it just me or is goofy relly intellagent in this game?)
i beat him hes not that hard i had oblivian too...equip[ all the abilities for air combos and upper slash. anytime u get the chanr knock him in the air and beat his ass. whe he hits u in the air use arial recovery and hit him be4 he hits u whenever hes in the air hes eeither castin sin angel or coment. run from side to side during comment. during sin angel or w/e get a potion or smething readyand then right away press triangle to block his dash attack thats all lol
ha ha youre in luck, No you don't need to beat Sephiroth to get 100% completion, but I have personally typed up my own straegy to beating him, it's 100% fail-safe. Heres the strategy! Enemies:Sephiroth Requirements:By now you have probably !@#$ yourself so I suggest you bring A diaper! Suggested Equipment:Cosmic Belt,Cosmic Chain,Gaia Belt,Cosmic Arts,Star CharmX2,Ultima Weapon. Okay this is it the showdown, in my opinion this is the hardest boss in the game! Again you will not have Donald or Goofy yo save your @$$! Okay when the match starts off the very first thing your going to want to do is press triangle to block his barage of attacks, if not then if anything your health will be next to nothing(even if maxed!)! Okay if you manage to block those attakcs then you must qucikly counter with a dash attack, anfter that start breaking out your best combos in anything do a little hop if you have the chance so that you can use the xx[][]xx[][] combo which is incredibly useful in this fight! After you finish pummeling him with your pitiful attacks he will dissapear he will then try to strike you into the air, almost similar to Xemas! this is your chance to try and strike him in the air! if you get a hit on him then repeat the xx[][]xx[][] combo, lol works everytime! Once you get him down to 7 health bras he decides to turn up the heat and bust out completly random slashes! he will even use the trick he used at the beggining of the match,from there follow the guide from the begining!Another helpful tip!Ocasianally sora will run out of mp (whenever you use cure!) you have a couple of choices, you can either use an elixr or glide and aerial; dodge around the stage and wait for it to replenish... only use elixrs in emergencies unless you have alot!! Now go get em!
yes its part of 100% its in his journal. hes easy tho just keep using the pattern of reactions and blocks. youll get it lol. the cutscene after FREAKIN OWNS
Beating Sephiroth is part of the 100% completion, 100% completion means you beat everything, got all treasures, all weapons and everything. Sephiroth is hard, I didn't defeat him yet, but I know a great strategy I made myself while fighting him and checking out all his moves. This is my strategy. Make sure all your form growth skills for Sora is at least lvl 1. At the beginning press triangle of course, and makes ure you have Once More and Second Chance. Attack him with 1 combo at a time, and he should disappear after every combo, when he hits you, try to dodge it with one of the form skills, if you dont dodge it and you get into the air, he will teleport to you and start attacking you till you get pwned. So when he hits you in the air, use Retailiating Slash by pressing square and it should do Aerial Recovery and then counter him, after you counter him, start doing a combo at him. When hes far away and does his combo, double jump and glide far away. When he summons those purple balls around you, use Reflega right away. When hes using the fire wall, run back because it will drag you in. When hes flying in the air and is not doing anything, run towards him and attack him, if you dont you're pwned lol. He's really hard, I died when I accidently forgot to use Retailiating Slash T_T Had like half of his last bar of HP left.. Merged Post:
When fighting him make sure you have Elixers. I only had 6 and ran out and almost died. I would recommend around 10. 15 if you're on Proud Mode. Now, like said press Triangle right off the bat and keep on pressing it till it's over. RIGHT after that go up to Seph and use Trinity Limit. This should take out 2 bars. Well it did for me. Now keep on attacking him and heal when needed. When he summons those blue orb things and sends them at you quickly use Reflect to Reflect them away so they don't do any damage or much damage. He also has the move "Sin Harvest" which will leave you with 1 HP and no MP if you don't attack him before he hits it. If you don't think you can get to him in time quickly run away from Seph and click on "Items" and go on an Elixer, but you should have it on a quick think where you have to just hold L1. If you can't get there in time quickly use an Elixer to bring you back to Full Health and Full MP. He's also got that fire wall just like in the 1st game again. When he is doing this either use Glide or use Quick Run. To get these you have to level up your Final Form and/or Wisdom Form.
No its because Goofy and Donald were really stupid in the first game and in the second Sora and Donald are really stupid, and goofy solves all their obvious problems.
This battle is very easy on standard i beat him level 39 with the "Bond of flames" keyblade but it took 21 elixers
idk how the hell you were only lvl 39 -.- anyways, i was an attack based character, got to lvl 99 before i even tried, (figured he would be hard..) and had ultima weapon. he was fairly easy in standard mode, i never used any elixirs or anything, i made sure to stay far enough and equip as many air combo things as i could so when he came near me i just jumped in the air and just used combos until he prevented it further. anytime i needed a heal i just used curaga. he is fairly easy at lvl 99 if you have alot of high def. items equipped and am a attack based character, because he does do alot of dmg .. but not enough to kill you in 1-2 hits, not near it, then when you attack him his defense is really low so if you are an attack person then you deal massive dmg in just one combo. the cutscene afterwards was good, but not as good as i expected. :\
somehow, i skipped some worls. i got to that forgotten world or w/e when i was a level 35, and i havent even visited the pride lands or a few other worlds yet. im just about to fight the head of organization XII
