$7360 really isnt that much money...well $7360 just off a website is a lot, but really you cant make a living off it.
... for 20 bucks a month a can get 150 GB of space and 1500 GB of bandwidth.. for 5 dollors a month i can get 50 GBS of space.... lol all im saying is this site has a lot of money going around lol oh btw rufio, 7K can pay for car insurance and gas money...
lol, ok, how long has the site been up, im sure the first few months, they got like 100 all together. But now more and more people are coming to this site. It is our job to make sure they like it and buy the memberships so llama can get us new things and maybe a real site not just a forum.
You think this site uses a cheap host that costs $20 per month? This is a dedicated server with alot of bandwidth usage per month, so for $7000+ how long do you think it would last? PLus the IPB license, plus the skin, I am sure he might make a little bit, but not what you think. IF he does make anything, he deserves every penny for the work he puts in. Rock on Llama.
most donators were prem members so they only had to pay 20$ furthermore... 2 years* 12months/year * 300$/month= $7600.,.. congrats GR has had two years of hosting paid for... ever consider the fact that the site is growing and might actually need a better server than that even? well then again for 7 grand you could likely build your own server, 2 opterons, 8 gigs of ram 800W PSU, 14 500gig HDDs in RAID5 and linux... EDIT:nvm... donaters paid 25 no matter what, I'm wrong.
Like i said on the other thread they make alot of money from ads. When i brought the $20 and $10 dollar advertisment package it lasted 3 days. Now im guessing the $100 dollar ad package would last 1 - 2 weeks and i've seen a few ads been displayed for longer than that.
