User Accounts

I want to make a new user account. (Control Panel>User Accounts)

Okay, it asks for my domain, now wtf is a domain? Isn't that like a website, lmfao. anyway i need help thanks.

It shouldn't...you should see something like:

PICK TASK...
> Change User Account
> Create New Account
> ...something else I forget.

are you an admin of your computer?

 

This is windows XP right?
cuz I checked and it never asked for a domain here..

 

thanks ^ forgot to ask if it was Windows XP...I think he means like one Windowns 95 - ME how they did that "Username" and "Domain" thing. it doesnt really matter, unless you made a sep. harddrive for a account, or you are hooked up on a network. you can turn that off, cause it is not needed

well...are you a computer administrator? if not, ask your mom or dad to make a new one for you

 

You must be set up on a workgroup. Try putting the domain in as "localhost".
