i got a sig than im auctioning off rite now. in the first post, i wrote there no withdrawing bids.

but then, there's a bid but under it it said "I have the right to withdraw"

can he still withdraw? i dunno abt you but i've never heard of an auction (real one, not GR) where you can withdraw

If ppl want to withdraw their bid I think they have the right to.

I would say that he can unless you explicitly said in the first post that people cannot withdraw their bids.

which i did. i said "no withdrawing bids"

i still think it's unfair to the seller. it's like making his auction like a backup plan or something. also, why are bids in real life cannot be withdrawn? the same principles still apply

you can withdraw from auctions in real life including paypal, it allows the opertunity for another person to bid the amount u bid, when U can't pay for example.
If you do state in the first post most people will honour it, by putting it in our sigs it means less moaning from the ppl that don't add it to the auctions

    :P daz

You can but there are strict requirements to do it, you just cant decide you dont want it anymore and not pay.

I am bidding on a sig, it says bids cannot be withdrawn and the "auction" has been going on for weeks... my bid is the highest, but it doesnt like it will sell.

Also, auctions in RL can be withdrawn, limitations are there, but it is possible.
