I signed up with homecall broadband about 10 months ago and have recieved very poor quality of internet whilst with them. I'm stuck on a 12 month contract so I can't change for a while. Although this has nothing to do with that, my online computer is extremely slow and unreliable and recently I've been needing to use the pc online a lot more. I have a computer upstairs that is offline and is relatively fast. I'm stupid to not of done this earlier, that I know. So I'm going to move my upstairs pc downstairs so it can be online and run on a better OS (XP Professional, and yes Linux is better, don't ask). The problem is I'm using a cable modem as I cannot set up a home network and it requires the Homecall software to be installed to connect to the internet. I have misplaced the CD that contained the software and I cannot just copy the folders onto my other PC as it needs to be properly installed. I've searched everywhere online for this software but with no luck at all. If anyone uses Homecall and can copy the installation files into a zip I would be very greatful. If I cannot get any help, I'll call Homecall support to send me a new CD. Thanks in advance.
