So, here's my first real attempt at a template. It just needs to be sliced and coded now. So, what do you think?
It's not bad for a first attempt, but it would look well better with some lighter, more pastely colours, rather than the psycodelic green. The menu is good, I like the badge below the links, but again the green kind of takes away from it. And also the font on the banner is too narrow and hard to read, try making it stand out from the text a bit more. The layout is excellent though, nice idea.
looks cool apart from the aptly named 'psycodelic green' by matt smith, but then again it may just be i dont like green. But the only thing i can reccomend would be to find another colour for the background because IMO green doesnt go too well with gray. Then why u may be asking have i done this too with my site well the answer to that is im still working on it.

the banner isnt the exact same... seriously, look at these two together... His: Tutorial: Also, the sitemap/home/contact us is AA'd and seperated very differently, along with the standard navigation text. So what if he used a tutorial? You all have once upon a time.
