Who plays RTW? I like it alot for its heavy empjasis on strategy, especially on the battlefield. That said, im much better commanding battles than running econonmies~
Play it at a friends house. I once beat my friend without loseing a single unit. Only downside to this game is that it lags like crazy if your computer can't handle it.
i love the battlefield. cant wait for the other expansion: Alexander. has indian troops on elephants. better than this, Total War: Medievil 2
Three possible reasons why they did that. First, ur troops were inexperienced or were up against foes they r afraid of(Roman troops fear elephants...hence they rout more easily). Second, they were led by an inexperienced general. Third: all of the above.
