Scammed!

Alright, I bought a Steam account off of CrisisZero here:

I sent him the creds, and he sent the info. So I immediately check the VAC status, and it is banned. It was advertised as In Good Standing so I pmed him exactly 1 minute after I recieved the info and showed him proof. Now he wont refund my creds and claimed I got it banned. Which is not physically possible, seeing as I told him it was banned 1 minute after I got the info.

Can I be refunded?

Edit: Also, I would also like to point out, that in the proof of the vac status, the background of the picture does not match the background of the pic of the games. More proof of it being already banned before I even got it.

And I have PM records proving I sent him the PM exactly 1 minute after.

 

take SSes of the PMs between you two and send them to one of the global mods (i think this one is within the global mods power? with the PM proof?) along with that thread link.

the members cant do anything, just the admins (can check logs and be 100% sure), and the global mods can take your credits back if enough proof is available.

If the global mod you send it to cannot help you, they will forward it to an administrator and the problem will be dealt with by them.

Ess - I thought I made him post sufficient proof, I guess I was wrong.

 

I am not sure what he is talking about. But I was playing the account about two hours before I sold it on a VAC secure server and the account was in fact in good standing when I transfered the info to him. I did not sell a banned account and I have screen shots that prove that.

 

Then how can you explain that the backgrounds of the two pics you posted were different? The only logical reason would be that you stole the pic of the good status.

 

I have changed the password on the account and I am going to see if I can look into it. Since I have taken the account back, you are getting the 400 you paid for it back.

I still do not know how it got banned in the little time, and I was not aware of it. But if you truly did not do anything to it, I'm sorry for the confusion. I guess I'm gonna have to check with VAC.

 

VAC is scanning the forum and saw that a steam account was being sold and looked up all recent changes in steam accounts and banned the one with password/e-mail changes! Its a conspiracy! AAAAAHHHHH!

I got my credits back, but I would still like him to be banned for scamming. Notice how be blatantly denied it before I gave him proof.

 

What proof? You have shown nothing besides a banned VAC status 2 minutes after I gave the account. VAC's site isn't working properly right now, but if I can find a date that it was banned maybe I can figure out what happened here.

 

Also the fact that VAC doesn't mess up, and it is impossible to join a game and hack in under 1 minute. It was obviously you who got it banned.
