even if they say it is 4.26ghz, that is the possible highest it can go, not what it necisarily is, and it hardly ever reaches exactly 4.26. It's normally around that speed, like 4.17437848548ghz...

like with hard drives. they say on the label '40Gb', but when you format it, you get 38.35474Gb...

    It's all rounded, never exact...

Apparently people have misunderstood my post, so let's get this straight.

What I meant was, that it doesn't perform like a 4.26GHz AMD would. I was just saying that just because it runs at a higher GHz, doesn't mean that it runs so much better than an AMD with a lower speed. It's just terribly worded, due to lack of time to type.

.Jimbo, we are saying the same thing, I just worded my badly.

acctually there are people getting PXEs to 5ghz. Unlocked multiplier...

as for harddrives... they don't lie, you get 40,000,000,000 bytes... it's jsut that OSes formulate a GB as 2^30

If you have $10,000 to blow on a PC like this, go ahead.
