Pro, Semi Pro Etc...

i remeber the good ol days when we made sigs with brushes and everyone juts loved it....now....its gay

I think it's stupid that people label pro, inter and stuff on sigs
like most of you say, sigs aren't pro
I totally honest when I say that I'm not pro at all, but I like making sigs, and that's what it is all about
when rating, I only give tips what they should do to make it better, not giving a 8/10 or so, or saying it's pro or noobish

 

Meh, i never rate myself.. If i post a sig, i'll leave it to the members or staff to comment

 

It's just 'out of style', so to speak. It'll probably be popular again in a few months.

 

I agree on that also, I will always stay with this way also as its the kidna i like most..

That also pisses me off though.
While you may not like the styles etc. they are NOT easy to be done well. So when people say it's just lens flare and smudge etc. they're just being idiotic, and usually can't produce these "Whored Tags" themselves.

 

I was not putting in any time to that you realize.

I don't consider myself the best designer I just think it's pointless to follow fads. You design what you want and if you lie it that's all that matters. I put images in my sig because I like them, nto because they are cool. I have better work than my xman sig right now but i'm nto displaying it.

 

Is that my render in that "tut", Xelink? I recognize how the rain was cut and the random bumpiness :lol:

I've tried a lot of the "pro" styles that people brag about....personally, I often find them too easy. Nor do they really look THAT great.

I find uniqueness and originality to be more important, myself.

 

Too Easy.
There's a reason people like Tim0z are making the creds and real money and others arent. It's easy to produce inter results with them, but to get what we call "Pro" *cough yeah really* is a lot harder

 

Personally? I think most of his stuff is not impressive at all. Some of it is good looking, but it's not that great. But it's the 'trendy' thing right now, and that's why it's popular.

That's why, like I said, it's subjective. What some people find to be pro others will find to be garbage.

 

umm actually... take alook at it and then look at my sig... we did our renders at liek the same time, mine has partially transparent rain and a diferent resolution though.

 

You see .. this mis my job... to actually say that theyre sigs suck balls when they say it is pro..
