You guys quote to much. the simple truth of the matter is that the bible actually DOES say don't do another man in the ass(in not so many words) its in one of the books if ya look hard enough. I really think some of the people in this topic do not know a single gay person in reality and only know of the stereotypes they hear/see on TV. I also think that some people need to realize that their religion does NOT run the world. I believe gay marriage should be legalized. Why? Why not? Who really CARES what the bible says? Last time I checked, the US has no official religion. So why do people want to pass laws based on what the bible says? THAT'S illegal. There is no reason whatsoever why two people should not be allowed to marry, regardless of gender. They love each other, why not let them formalize it by marrying? This whole argument about marriage being sacred is a joke. Divorce rates are insane. You see straight couples get married and divorce months later - if that - yet many gay couples who are together for many many years, yet because of their sexuality are not allowed to marry. To all of those who think homosexuality is a choice -- okay, so when did you decide to be straight? Hmmm? Answer that one, please. Sex is not just for reproduction. People have it just for fun. Plenty of married couples have sex not wanting to have children. Plus there are people - men and women (though mostly women) who don't get off on good old vaginal intercourse. In fact, a vast majority of women don't. Not to mention that anyone who says that only vaginal intercourse is natural yet has ever masturbated or had oral sex is a HUGE hypocrite. And I also find it disgusting the number of people who think male homosexuality is disgusting yet drools over two chicks going at it. Seriously, grow up people. Two people getting married's not going to effect you in any way, shape, or form, so why do you care so much to try and force your beliefs on them by not allowing them to marry? Let them do it...and if you don't like it, don't marry someone of your own gender. But let others who want to have the choice to be able to if so they wish.
