I think that you deleted the system restore points, probably without knowing it. On Disk Cleanup, if you click on "more options" it allows you to delete all restore points except for the ones created that same day. Sure it might free up a lot of space; but I wouldn't delete mine. Anyway I hope that other program you're using works for you.
