Great movie IMO. Had subtleties in it that other movies didn't. The twist at the end was great! Ethan Hawke played his part fairly well to. Shame Vitaly had to die.
I thought the ending was sad. He gets burned out of everything. His wife, his kid, his brother. Although I do like it how he totally snubs off Ethan Hawke when he is arrested near the end.
Nobody i've talked to that saw it said it was a great movie. They all just say it is okay and the ending sucks.
Brilliant film. It's pretty accurate I'd say regarding the whole , based on true events. Come on like we can see it today with the wars going on in Asia, Africa and they have to gte their gun's somewhere. Nicoles Cages is great in it but a bit too relaxed as far as acting. Overall a stunning film and great storyline. Overlord
No it really is awsome, and it IS based on true events. You have learned about the fall of the sovijet union, right? If you are american, imagine mounting a huge defense with HUGE amounts of weapons in Texas, and then Texas breaks out of the union(ok, kind of weird situtaion, but keep with me). Now, all the wepons were in the US, but now they are in another country. So forcing their way in there would be more or less a declaration of war. Kind of like throwing your ball into the angry neighbours yard. Everything in the movie is BASED on reality, but it is still a movie, so be carefull how much you believe.
