First of all, I'd say get this card instead:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...608#DetailSpecs

    Second of all,
Idk bout that PSU, seems cheap.
I'm thinking this may work for you, but lets get a 2nd opinion k?
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16817153023

    EDIT:
With the new PSU, you are gonna have to reconnect a lot of things. Not really hard but gets annoying.
And jsut get a 20+4 pin, its universal, and most are like that anyway. How it works is it has 2 cords grouped, one with 20, one with 4 pins. If you need 24, they just slide together and boom, there ye go.

    performance/$ is all that matters.

I have a 7800GT but don't hesitate to recomend the x800 to friends looking for performance/$

company loyalty is stupid(ok, I go with newegg on some things even though tax makes stuff liek 1-2% mroe expensive because I've had good past experiences but that's almost negligeable) when there is an obvious diference in what you get for the money.

that's like AKW getting ripped off on his proc because he's an intel loyalist. trust me, on the low end ATi is champ right now, and on the extreme high end it's closer but mid end, nVidia is champ

Id suggest you downgrade your graphcis card if you are only willing to spend 25 bucks on a power supply.

edit: Diablo's first psu looks good

chances are you cant upgrade you compaqs psu as they make them a different size. Also you sure you have an agp slot.

please dont make sarcastic remarks. I was just stating that generally compaq takes the cheap way out. Although I still dont hold much for you being able to fit in a standard psu.

    Well...
I'd say go for this if you will spend that much.
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16817103928

Or save a few bucks and get something jsut as good (this is what I got and it still works great for me)
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16817104954

Antec is a good name to go by, one of the best out there.
FSP group is also pretty good, just as strong as the antec, plus a bit more of wattage.

The one you chose isnt really bad, but I am saying this cuz I was guided away from it also when I was building my computer by Defuzion. He knows a lot about PSU's so I trusted him, he was right, saved some cash and scuh in the process.

Just get an ePower Puma II. Best low-end of the range psu you can buy.
