My opinion on death penealty is that is should be done more often, why? well mainly because it takes less tax money to keep someone alive for a couple of days and kill him then it does to keep that person alive till he/she dies of natural causes.
They should be sent to the prison in Cyprus.. cant recall the name, but that place is hell. They should only have sicko's, shild abusers, and generally people like that in a plac like that, but no, not death, especially for people who want to comitt suicide for their god, as that would just please them. Thats me done, lol
I say that rapists, severe drug addicts and dealers, murderers and child molesters should be sent straight to the electric chair. To hell with prison. It doesn't matter if it's better for them to suffer in jail. It costs money. Send that money to the families instead. If we just send 'em to prison it increases their chance to be let out again. Just wipe 'em off the face of the earth.
of course murdering b******s should get the death penalty, and not those injections...the full on eletric chair
last i heard it was closer to EIGHTY thousand a year, prison is expencive. the fact is, in ALL cases, justice must be served. real justice. to use the book "a time to kill " ( by john grisham ) as an example: 2 stoned, drunk white guys brutally beat, rape, and attempt to kill a 10 year old black girl. her father then kills the 2 guys. THAT is justice. the father should not have gone to jain, he SHOULD have been given an award! today's world says there is no absolute right or wrong. i say todays world needs a good slap across the face. there IS justice, and sometimes that justice means the offender must die.
i say instead of an easy death penalty like just injecting some poison to kill someone, they should torture criminals "saw" style.
as far as im concerned the death penalty is state approved murder and the person gets an easy way out
im against the death penalty... maybe this will work: 1. get an armored concrete cell 2. throw the bad guy in it (the one that is judged for the death penalty) 3. lock the door and throw the key away 4. he can rot away lol, this is my method for very bad criminals that has murdererd someone...
Whats the point in killing people who commit major crimes, cause mostly the death penalty is given to murderers when that life they took can't be replaced and tecicnally the family who want the criminal executed are commining murder. It's pointless but can be useful at times. A life(meaning life) sentance should be given instead of Killing a Killer.. Overlord
I think solitary confinement for a year would be alot worse than the death penalty. But I can never decide whethere or not it's moral to take a man's life away. In the mind of logic, yes it's obviously right, but when it gets down to things, could you throw the switch to kill that man sitting 7ft away from you? I'm not sure that I could.
personally i think countries need the death penalty if they arnt willing to actually imprison someone for life and by life i mean you die in there and the only way out is in a hearse. there are certain crimes and certain people who should never be allowed back into society cause they cant be rehabilated and have a high chance to re offend. people like serial murderers and child malesters shouldnt be allowed back into the general population. even if they arent in prison they should be kept away from society and if that means the death penalty then so be it. people should be inprisoned for life and at anytime they should be able to choose the death penalty. to put an end to it.
what gives us the right to to take another life states the prosecutor ,i ask what gives the jury or the judge to tke the life of the prosecutoed . Life in prison would be a far better punishment , though there is the expection to the rule.
I think the death penalty is ok but only in some situations....Death isnt the only way out every time IMO.
