Wow yea that is true to.Let them go through hell lol.Do the crime do the time but still some to like to go to jail sad to say some don't want to die.
I'm against the Death Penalty, because if you kill them you aren't any better then those scum. And you always got the chance that you kill someone that is innocent, and when you killed him, you'll never get the chance to undo it. So go to his family and say: "Hey do you know your husband? Yeah, he got the death penalty but you know what? He didn't do it! Sorry, bye bye!"
Yeah, that brings up another point. Supposing they're wrong? If they do the death penalty, they should be sure that they got the right person or else there's nothing you can do to undo the killing of the wrong person. Even so, they shouldn't give the death penalty anyway. Personally I'm against it. Killing someone for commitiing a crime is wrong, think how the guy's family would feel. It's happened many many times before. And all it does is bring up people complaining/protesting/whatever over it, which will only make the matters worse. The person who commited the crime should get life in prison. Like others have said, death is the easy way out for them. Spending a life in prison will teach em. The criminal suffers for what they've done, and can't go killing anyone again, then everyone's happy, right?
To some it is considered justice as they say an eye for an eye, which in this case is a life for a life, but frankly, I think its an easy way out for them, they death penalty they go through might not be as bad as what the criminal's victim went through though. But of course, I am referring to murder cases.
Im against it, I mean it is much more horrible being imprisoned for a very long time then to die... and in that time people who were inocent when convicted have a chance..
Huh. How so? Drug trafficking has always been a huge problem in SEA ,despite the harsh measures that some of those countries adopt to stem the flow of drugs out of them. Its only a matter of time before some other individual/s are caught, and no doubt will face a similar fate to Nguyen. The death penalty may deter a few but considering the huge amount of drugs that flow into Austalia ,NZ, etc, I doubt it's as effective as you believe and thefrore it is questionable as to whether the DP has any real effect on the overall distribution of drugs coming out of those countries
i think criminals would be happy if they done something naughty (LOL) if they get a deat penalty be a prisoner the rest of your life is more terrible
well i dont think it would scare many people but they would get the death penalty and then yah and like shift six said you get tortured when you life in jail but thats better for us cuz we know well be safe from those prisoners to get out
i dont like the death penalty they should just use it to play wit ppls minds -such as- say there goin to the chair on so and so date do all tha proceedures put them in chain then hav sum 1 come in and say its postponed and do that the rest of there life by mental torture. think that would be much better den tha death penalty
I think the death penalty should only be used if the person being convicted is 100% guilty, meaning evidence that nobody can say isn't real is used.
the death penalty is not needed if a man kills millions of people, if killing him gonna bring those people back, did u pull thr trigger, no, so wheres ur satsifaction jus throw him in prison for life and let him rot in thee
