Well, im planning on buying it. I already know you have to pay per a month but is the game worth it? I herd from alot of people its addicitive as hell. If you play it on a 9800pro can you please send me or post up a screen shot? I want to see how good the graphics are. Thanks
Well, have you got Guild Wars? i dont have WOW, but i hear its like Guild Wars, but it costs money to play online, while guild wars is free....
First off all is World of Warcraft much better that GW. If you are a fan of the Warcraft games (like me) GW is not an alternative. It's so funny to create your own hero and lead him to victory, it's funny to group with others and play instances and the best of all is to kick some horde-*cough*son-of-a-bitch*cough*ass in the battlegrounds. I have started to get addicted to this game, well, about 5 million people play it active, that's the big differense between WoW and GW.
then it probably wont make a difference to you. I woulg get GW, considering you dont want to shell out £30 quid for a game, and then have to pay AGAIN each month..
Wow is much better thne guild wars, just buy it,i played it 1 year and it was the best game year of my life. it's worth it's money triple.
Its a very fun game, I dont own it, but my friend does, i have a character on his account that he shares with me )) My friends name is De*e*ot* (I dont want to release his name), hes a Tauren hunter. hes about level 35 or so.

This game is flipping amaaaaazing!! omggg, my cousin had this game and he had a tauren (i cant remember class), and he made it to 60, then there were these crazy battles between Horde and Alliance, and somtimes he used to let me play and holyy it was sooo fun fighting pvp and kickin those alliance asses, u should get this game!!
First off all, you can't compare WoW to GW. Wow is a addictive, slow and unbalanced game. GW is completely on the oposite. It gets more nerfs and balances than you can wish for and is pretty fast-paced with more tactics than wow as you can only have 8 skills equipped when you go outside outposts. There is many other differences. But anyways, I don't think WOW is worth it. I brought it, played for a while, and got sick of every class around level 20. I played mage to around level 30 and got even more sick of them as everybody started treating me as a fridge >_> EDIT That is the case with most WoW players, but it often takes long time to make one admit it. EDIT 2 I never got addicted. I have never been addictive to a game, actually. And that's only for the better.
you are so right. WoW is a peice of ---- and id rather be playing CS1.6 or CSS but WOW is like crack to me
i have played a bit of both games nd to be honsest i would go for WOW but guild wars are bringn out expansion which is looking quite good called fractions . i dont know about you but i can still find trial versions of wow around the place maybe you should get one of those try it first
