the green boxes i dont have them but some people do.

 

You dont have them because you are a premium member, they are called pips. You can even get new ones for your board if you want.

 

oh ok what do they do

 

Just show how many posts you have in a simpler form, the more pips the more posts.

it also basically tells you how good of a member you are because since the pips=posts and more posts=better member more pips=better member lol

 

not really... more posts = spam...

its often times your repost ratio that determines people opinion of you, like i have a relatively high rep for my posts. it shows that your posts arent spam and your a helpful member (and some of us know how hard it is to get rep even when you do something good around here anymore, like free massive tuts that you spend over 16 hours on to make and stuff).

 

.Dementia has more post then Broken but .Dementia doesn't have any pips

Doesn't always mean spam, kinda matters how long they've been a member.
